Custom parts built to spec when the part you need is discontinued, backordered or doesn't exist.
When a part is discontinued, backordered or never existed, we build it. Our fabrication shop makes replacement panels, brackets, partitions, guards and full utility bodies for transit vehicles and commercial fleets — built to spec and finished in the same facility.
This is often the difference between a vehicle going back in service and sitting in a yard waiting on a part that may never ship. It's also how we handle one-off requests from upfitters and dealers who need something built to their drawing.
A&A Manufacturing & Repair Inc. — in late 2023, the owner of a long-running Chino manufacturing shop retired and A&A Fleet Painting secured the location along with its machinery and equipment.
That gave us a real machine and fabrication shop next door: we make our own parts when something is discontinued or backordered, and we take on complex structural repairs that would otherwise have to be sent out.
Metal work for vehicles that don't have an off-the-shelf answer.
Body panels, access doors and structural sections fabricated when the original is unavailable.
Partitions, window guards and screens for transit, paratransit and municipal vehicles.
Mounting hardware, brackets and lock assemblies made to fit the actual vehicle.
Custom beds, tool compartments and equipment mounting for work and emergency vehicles.
Work from the broken original, your drawing, or just the vehicle and what it needs to do.
We build to the actual vehicle, not a catalog assumption, and test fit before finishing.
Cut, formed and welded in our shop.
Painted or coated to match, then installed on the vehicle.
